Reuters recently did an article on the Priscialla Chan and Mark Zukerberg philanthropy initiative to help manage and cure all disease by the end of the century. A tall order, but if you have means, and they do, why not try?

“Bringing
the power of generative AI to biology at scale will allow researchers
to incorporate these technological advances into their work, which will
accelerate efforts to cure, prevent, or manage all disease,” Chan said.

The
system will be trained on datasets from software tool CZ Cell x Gene,
as well as resources from Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network and Chan
Zuckerberg Institute for Advanced Biological Imaging, and publicly
available data.
